Why?  A person who wants to use Coachview will need to be created as a user. What happens? This user gets a login name, creates his own password and gets access. A user who logs in will see the different menu items in the menu. What a user gets to see and what the user can do is controlled by assigning one or more user roles. A user is linked to a personal file. What is a module? A module is a collection of functions around a coherent subject. For example, the module 'Business and Person' consists of the functions 'Business', 'Individuals' and 'Business and Person category'. Another example is the module ‘Sales & Invoicing’, which makes it possible to send invoices, manage debtors and keep track of the administration. By default, all functions belonging to a module are enabled. However, if it is desirable that certain functions cannot be used, functions can be switched off selectively. In the example of ' Sales & Invoicing' for example, you can choose to have invoices created, but deny access to managing debtors. This does not affect the cost of a module, it remains the same whether only én or álle rights of a module are granted to a user. In addition, it is possible to hide functions (menu items) associated with certain modules. In this way, it is not possible for a user to call up an overview, but the user can perform an operation. For example, hide function ‘debtor’ which prevents the user from viewing an overview of debtors, but allows the user to edit the debtor for a particular request if necessary. What is a function? The entire application consists of menu and menu items (= functions). Via a menu and menu group you get access to certain files via a search screen. Think of persons, companies, training, types of training, requests, invoices, balances, etc. What are user roles? With the above options it is possible to configure the access of a user account to your own wishes, independent of the modules in which Coachview is divided. Per user én or multiple 'roles' can be assigned, where a role is a collection of functions independent of the modules. By default, Coachview per module contains a role containing all functions of that module, but it is also possible to create één roles for an administrative employee, for example, containing functions of the modules 'Companies and Individuals', 'Training' and 'Sales & Invoicing'. A role can therefore contain functions of several modules. Financiële authorization. If a function is shown, it means that it has been assigned to that user via an assigned user role. However, this does not mean that the user can actually start the function. To do this, an ‘financiële autorisation’ must first be given. This authorisation can only be given by authorised persons.
