The AVG states that you should email as little personal information as possible.

If you do, you must also have the necessary security in place.

Coachview complies with a number of security measures, but not all of them.

We have set up an SPF record, DKIM and DMARC to prevent spoofing.

Encryption such as StartTLS and S/MIME are not yet supported. In the future we do want to do this, but it has a lot of consequences for Coachview. So the demand for it needs to grow.

In addition, these techniques only work if the receiving email client also supports this technique. Otherwise the technique will automatically look for a fallback and that means that it will go out the door without encryption.

Having the technique in place is not yet a conclusive solution.

Recommendation

Above all, do not send sensitive personal data via e-mail. So no BSN, or other risky personal data.
