Inactive in Coachview means that the item is no longer shown actively in the list. Active items are searched for by default. An action template that is set to inactive is not shown in the list of action templates. But it can still be used and linked to training types. 

Another example: an inactive person in Coachview continues to exist, but no longer appears in the list of persons. (However, if you start searching on inactive)

In the action template you can see on the tab type of course what the action template is linked to and remove the link.

In the action list you can look up if there are still actions open. Search for inactive actions and conditions fulfilled yes/no.
