There are several columns you can import to create a new personal file or to change an existing personal file. You do not need to include all the columns in your import file. Only the column for the surname of the person is mandatory. Do you only use columns to create a new personal file? Then no company file is created, the person is considered private in Coachview.

Are you going to import companies and persons more often? Or have these companies and persons been imported before? Then you need to make sure that each company and person is uniquely identified. You do this using the 'externid' and 'externsource' for both company and person. Coachview has no other possibility to recognize the company or person when importing. Don't do this? Then there is a chance that a company and/or person will be created twice.
