Short introduction video (1:56):
Why?
With MailChimp, you can quickly and easily send out online newsletters to different target groups. The persons are or will be registered in Coachview and should therefore be automatically added to MailChimp. Does a person no longer want to receive a newsletter or do you change a person's details? Then you can arrange this from Coachview, the changes are automatically implemented in MailChimp.

What's happening?
  1. You created a mailing list in MailChimp.
  2. The link to this mailing list is established via the Service center in Coachview.
  3. In Coachview a target group is automatically created, you can configure this by using rules and features.
  4. Are people added to the target group as a result of this configuration? Then they are automatically created in MailChimp.
  5. Do you remove a person from a target group? Then they are automatically removed from MailChimp.
  6. Do you change a person's data in the Coachview personal file? Then this data is automatically changed in MailChimp.
  7. Is a person unsubscribed in MailChimp? Then this person will be deactivated in the target group. Please note that the personal file will not be deactivated!
Important to know is:
  1. There must be at least one 'list' in MailChimp.
  2. That you set up the link via the service center in Coachview.
  3. That you can create an instance / version for each MailChimp 'list'.
  4. Each instance / version must be authenticated (enabled) in MailChimp.
  5. That you decide per instance / version which 'list' from MailChimp should be linked to a 'target group' in Coachview.
  6. That Coachview automatically creates the target group for you.
  7. That people who have been added to your MailChimp 'list' are not automatically placed in the target group.
  8. The name of the MailChimp 'list' does not automatically become the name of the target group.
  9. The opt-in/out option does not apply.
What's needed?
  1. A user account in MailChimp.
  2. Version 3.0 of MailChimp.
  3. One or more mailing lists in MailChimp.
  4. The role 'Target group' in your user account.
How?
You establish the link via the service center in Coachview. This can be accessed via the function group 'Service center' and the function 'Links'. If you activate the link, a target group is automatically created. You configure the target group, so that Coachview can add or remove persons based on this configuration. Three action templates are automatically added to the target group. These action templates ensure that the creation, deletion or modification of persons in MailChimp is carried out with the help of automatic actions. Of course, it is always possible to manually add or remove persons to the target group (= deactivate).
