Every employee who will use Coachview will be called a user. This user must therefore have a login name and a password. In addition, you have to indicate which functions and modules this user will have available. A user who logs in, will see in the menu the different functions as assigned by én or multiple user roles. A user must be linked to a person.

Create a new user.

When you are logged in, click in the menu on the function group 'Manage' and the function 'User'.
Click the button 'New' to add a new user.
Fill in the following data:
A username must  consist of lowercase and én dot, other characters are not allowed. There must be at least 2 characters before and after the dot. The length must be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 50 characters.

For example: first name<point>insertion surname, example 'jan.vanderelst'
Please enter a temporary password.
  • The password must be at least 8 characters long.
  • The password must not be éone of the 15 last used passwords.The password must contain at least 1 lowercase.
  • The password must contain at least 1 uppercase letter: (1234567890!@#€$%()*+,-./:;=?[\]^_{|}`~&"').
  • Other characters may not be included: welcome, welcome, password, coachview, innophase, qwerty, abc.
  • The username must not appear
  • Click on the magnifying glass behind 'Rolls', a list of possible roles opens
  • Set a check mark in front of the roll.
  • Click the button 'Add'.

Here you can choose from a number of levels that determine the user's permissions.
  1. All rights (default): this option is widely used for back-office staff.
  2. Lecturer: the user only sees the data that are directly related to him/herself, such as e.g. courses of which he/she is a participant or lecturer. This option is often used for teachers, they have rights to their own file and all courses for which they have been scheduled as a teacher or participant.
  3. Manager: the user only sees his own data and the data of the persons he is in charge of

  5. Company Authorization: if this option is chosen, the tab 'Company Authorization' can be used to specify which companies the user can access. The user will then only see data belonging to these companies.
Select a language so that functions (menu items) and screens are translated.
Please note: pairing a person is mandatory. The person must not be inactive.

Select a personal file via the magnifying glass to link the user to a person.
If this person does not yet exist, you can create a new personal file by clicking on the plus sign.
Wachtwoord wijzigen:
By default this is checked. This means that when the user logs in, the password has to be changed.
The user has canceled the account.
Click 'Save' to save the data.
If an e-mail address has been entered in the personal file, it will be shown here. This e-mail address will be used for password forgotten.
After creating a user you need to be financially authorized, for this you will find a message when you click on save. Click on this message (or go to menu management - financialële authorization) to enable or disable the modules for this user.
